Sarah Elizabeth Yorke
Executive Producer/Director/Intimacy Choreographer
Sarah Elizabeth Yorke (she/her) is currently a third year MFA Directing Candidate at Ohio University, where she also recently added Master of Arts Administration in Theatre Production and Management, in pursuit of a dual-degree. This fall Sarah will direct Tennessee Williams’ Summer and Smoke for her thesis production (10.28-11.6) on Ohio University’s Baker Stage as part of the MainStage season, along with two other incredible Femme Identifying guest directors, Shannon R. Davis and Tanisha L. Pyron, making it an all-women directed fall semester.

Sarah would like to thank everyone for their continued support of her endeavors and the arts, especially after a very difficult year. As this is only her second time self-producing, she recognizes the integral part you’ve all played in making not only The Tall Girls, but Little Women happen as well. She is consistently amazed by the kindness and generosity you’ve all shown over the past year to ensure that artists are paid and that art continues to be made and celebrated!
Thank you all for being a bright light in this world and allowing the arts to grow and flourish from a tiny seed into a beautiful full bloom of creativity and passion.
Associate Producer/ Stage Manager
Bridget Rooney (she/her) is a third-year graduate student at California Institute of the Arts where she is pursuing her MFA in Stage Management. Her selected stage management credits include Little Women Digital Workshop, The Mad Ones Lab; CalArts: Cries and Whispers, Uncle Vanya, Machinal; Schuylkill Free Shakespeare: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead; Majestic Theater: Fun Home and Spring Awakening.
Kayla Higbee (she/her) recently graduated from Ohio University with an MFA in Costume Design. Her selected credits include This is Not What I Expected When I Imagined a Republic (Tantrum Theatre), Objects in the Mirror (Tantrum Theatre), The Wolves (Ohio University), Superior Donuts (AthensWest Theatre), Assassins (Centre College), and In the Event of My Death (FARM Theatre Company College Collaboration Project). She has worked at Berkshire Theatre Group as their Wardrobe Supervisor for their 2015-2019 seasons and at Centre College as the Costume Shop Supervisor/Resident Costume Designer from 2014-2018.
Director of Photography/Editor/Lighting Design/Additional Sound Design
Devin Chen (he/him) is a Cinematographer, Gaffer, and Camera Assistant based in Athens Ohio. Currently in his junior year, he is pursuing a BFA in film at the Ohio University School of Film, Honors Tutorial College. His previous projects include both traditional and 360 VR content. In 2019, Devin and his team were awarded a National Student Production Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for User Blocked, a short film he directed in high school. His future plans include moving to Toronto after graduation and continuing to find happiness through a viewfinder. He is thrilled to be working with such a talented and creative team and would like to thank all those who donated for making this production possible.
Sound Design/Sound Mixing
Kailey (she/her) is an avid lover of classic literature, her two black labradors, and strawberry ice cream. Simply put, she loves to make people laugh and strives to bring an atmosphere of joy in whatever room she walks into. Past dramaturgical credits include: Antony & Cleopatra (PSF), The Sound of Music (DSU), and RENT (Facetime Theater). Kailey is also a major supporter of inclusive arts, and believes that artistry comes in all abilities. When not involved in the theater community, Kailey is the small business owner of Kailey Edwards Photography and aims to capture the most authentic beauty in the world.
Assistant Stage Manager
Raven Wesley is thrilled to be assistant stage managing for Sarah, and is delighted that “The Tall Girls” is a well-rounded show she has had the opportunity to explore and immerse herself in. Raven is an upcoming sophomore at Wilkes University majoring in Musical Theatre. Raven has been pursuing theatre/music predominantly her whole life and recently found a passion for being behind the scenes. While at Wilkes, Raven stage managed her first show and Wilkes’ most recent musical “Nice Work If You Can Get It”. During her first semester she also ran soundboard, and lightboard for two other shows! Raven closed out her first semester by performing in her first college show, Julius Caesar. Raven would like to thank Sarah and Bridget for their unmatched kindness and consideration during a complicated time. Raven would also like to thank the cast for being absolutely delightful to be with! “Truly a wonderful, talented group of people.”
Assistant Stage Manager
Jackie (she/her) is a recent graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School where she participated in the drama club for 6 years. She has also participated in Schuylkill Free Shakespeare as an assistant stage manager and has played in the pit band for the Majestic Theater. Some of her past roles include Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera, Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly, The Witch in Into the Woods, and Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity. She will be attending Villanova University in the fall to pursue a career in the nursing field.
Abbey Kostyal (she/her) is a recent graduate of West Chester University of PA, with a BFA in Graphic + Interactive Design. Currently working as a Junior Brand Marketing Designer in Atlanta, Georgia, Abbey loves illustration, vintage typography, and anything Beatles related. Growing up with a love of theater, designing show posters is a favorite project of Abbey’s. Her website can be found at AbbeyKostyal.com
Emma Kuczynski (she/her) is recent grad of Tamaqua Area High School, where she holds the titles of third all-time leading scorer in Basketball with 2010 points, as well as third all-time leading goals list for Soccer. Her freshman year she was named Republican & Herald’s “Rookie of the Year” and in her senior year was named to the All-State women’s basketball and soccer teams. She holds several more sports accolades at both Schuylkill County and State Levels. She is a current Sophomore at Jefferson University where she studies Health Sciences and plays basketball for the Rams. She hopes to continue her studies there post undergrad and become a Physician’s Assistant in the coming years.
