Meet the Cast
Mackenzie Moyer (she/her) is a Philly/NYC based actress. Some of her favorite roles she’s played include Jo March in Little Women, Maid Marian in Robin Hood & Maid Marian, and Abigail Williams in The Crucible. She graduated with her B.A. in Theatre from DeSales University in 2020. Besides acting, she enjoys yoga, Dungeons & Dragons, and writing. Her special skills include breathing in a corset, a nose whistle, and making a mean cappuccino. More about her and her work can be found here: mackenzie-moyer.com.
Arrianna Daniels (she/her) is humbled to bring Almeda to life on the court. Previous credits include the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Rogue Theatre Festival, The Arden Experiment and Live Virtual Play Readings. She has also helped lend a voice to DeSales University's stage as Amanda Wingfield (Glass Menagerie), Dorine (Tartuffe), Madame Ranevskaya (Cherry Orchard), Molly Aster (Peter and the Starcatcher), and various roles on both sides of the curtain. She would like to send some love to the small company, team, and family who consistently teach her through their artistry. The gratitude is endless.
Makenna Copeland is a recent graduate of DeSales University, and is so excited to be back to in person rehearsals for Tall Girls! Previous roles include Don Antonio in the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s virtual production of Two Gentlemen of Verona, Maggie Holmes in DeSales’ Act 1 production of Working: A Musical, Jacques in SFS’ As You Like It and Bertha in a Desales’ Act 2 production of Boing Boing. Leanne Rooney (she/her) is absolutely thrilled to be working with this incredible group of artists/friends who she has known and admired for so many years! She is currently a rising senior pursuing her BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Some of her favorite previous projects include: Judy Turner in “A Chorus Line” (NYU), Director of short film “Anonymous Recipes” (WINNER of Best Play at Woodside Players Summer 2020 Play Festival), Rosalind in “As You Like It”, Mrs Lovett in “Sweeney Todd,” and Christine Daaé in “The Phantom of the Opera.” As for future plans, she hopes to study abroad in London and continue working on projects that bring her joy. Lauren Tidmore (she/her) spent her entire young life training in dancing, singing, and acting in the Schuylkill County area. She then decided to turn her passion into a profession. Lauren recently graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, OH with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Minor in Dance. While at Baldwin Wallace, Lauren was involved in many productions including the Academic Premiere of Kinky Boots playing “Trish” while Dance Captaining and Assistant Choreographing. She also played “Beatrice” in A View From the Bridge, “Uranie” in Critique of the School for Wives, and was working on the new musicalFreedom Summer, to make its Regional Premiere at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland before the pandemic shutdown.
Senior year she helped choreograph and performed in the main stage modern dance concert Fyoo zh en.Regionally, Lauren has Assistant Choreographed Man of La Mancha at Porthouse Theater and worked on SHREK the Musical at Beck Center for the Arts playing “Fairy Godmother, Mama Ogre, Featured Ensemble” as well as Dance Captaining and Assistant Choreographing.
In 2018 Lauren was the Assistant Choreographer for the Regional World Premiere of Jane Eyre with Cleveland Musical Theater, receiving a Cleveland Critics Circle Award for Best Choreography.
Cole Demcher (he/him) is an actor based in NYC whose previous credits are John Buchanan Jr (Summer and Smoke) Sergei (We are Pussy Riot) and Rosencrantz (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead). He was trained in Hofstra University's BA program with a certification in Stage Combat. He would like to thank his family and especially the cast for this unforgettable experience.
